Sarah H

CRS / VA

At a young age, I had always wanted to work in the veterinary field. I had always had an interest in animals and in medicine. I had worked in construction and got laid off, that was when my father told me that I should choose something I had always wanted to do. In my case, it was veterinary medicine. I have worked in small animal rescues before so being able to help pets get to where they should be, is super rewarding to me. So, working in a clinic was an obvious choice for me!

Diagnostics is the aspect of veterinary medicine that is of most interest me. I find it interesting to see how the testing works to come to determine results. The part that I love most about my job is the people that I work with.

A fun fact about myself is that when I was little, I would get my father to save mice and squirrels from his hunter cat. Otherwise, I would cry when she killed them. He did get bitten a few times because of this.
